Mike Twitty, MAI, CFA
Elected Pinellas County Property Appraiser


First elected in 2016, Mike brings more than 30 years of valuation experience and previously led
a successful appraisal firm in St. Petersburg. He has modernized operations by introducing
innovative, cost-efficient solutions that strengthen customer service, improve transparency, and
enhance the mass appraisal process.
Mike holds a business degree in Real Estate & Urban Analysis from the University of Florida, is a
State-Certified General Appraiser and Florida Real Estate Broker and has earned both the MAI and
CFA designations.
He plays a key leadership role in Pinellas County’s technology and GIS initiatives, chairs PAAF’s
Legislative Committee, represents the profession nationally through the Appraisal Institute, and
serves as a Trustee of The Appraisal Foundation.
